- Sorry all, I think my first reply went to someones direct e-mail
- account.

-
- All,
-
- V.34+ offers a distictive advantage over plain V.34. It uses lower
- symbol rates to make the connection. Lower symbol rates use less phone
- bandwidth. Thus, if your phone line supports the 3000 symbol rate,
- which will produce a 26,400 connection in V.34, you will connect at
- 28,800 with V.34+. On the average V.34+ offers a 2400 - 4800 bps
- speed advantage.
-
- Keep in mind you need to connect to a V.34+ USR product and the phone
- lines need to support at least the 3200 symbol rate to achieve a
- connection over 28,800.
-
- ( FYI - In many cases faulty premise wiring or too many telephonic
- devices plugged into the line hamper high speed connections. )
-
- Additions or questions are welcomed. I'll try and monitor this thread.
- I am trying to post some more technicals specifications for you
- guys/gals to review.
-
- One more note.......
-
- We are bit behind in some of our On-line services but are rapidly
- getting back up to speed. We have added some additional staff members
- to better support our growing clientele. Please hang up in there if
- you are waiting for a response.
